They have supposed to have been built a couple of reefs near cleveland, with the ruble from the old stadium. I looked for them a few times last summer and did not find them. Does anyone have GPS coordinates on them, I would like to try them out this Sunday. I have been fishing off shore at Edgewater for the last week, nothing. Would greatly appreciate the info.

I think they are going to remark them for this year with bouys. If not I know they had some great underwater photos with gps numbers. THeir also thinking of putting some more in the western basin.
Good Luck!!

It's the FS-072 artitcle in the PDF format. I forgot to tell you that it's a bear to fish in the summer because of all the power boaters going to the flats.
Good Luck!!

In the Spring 2001 issue of "Lake Erie Walleye," updated locations of Lake Erie artificial reefs are noted. This information is based on ODNR/GEO survey side-scan sonar data as of August 2000. The Cleveland Stadium artificial reefs are as follows:
Edgewater:
Cleveland Stadium Reef West #1 (north)
N41 30 148
W81 45 575
Cleveland Stadium Reef West #2 (south)
N41 29 970
W81 45 416
Euclid:
Cleveland Stadium Reef East (Euclid)
N41 35 933
W81 33 804
Hope this helps and good fishing.

Thaks! I'm a dilema; should I go to the islands on Sunday or should I try here around Cleveland. Does any one have any idea what are the chances of finding walleyes here this time of year, and if so, what should I look for? I was thinking of trying the reefs, but there might be something better.

if you want fish go to the reefs,,,,,,, ive been there 2 times this week and there stacked in there, pop your jigs, let settle for 5 to 8 sec. then pop again.
Fishcrazy, Head to the islands. Things usually start up earlier there and with spawning going on and hopefully finishing up, there is a tremendous amount of fish concentrated in the area. Good luck. Please post your results when you get back.
Euclid reef is very hard to find even with GPS coordinates. It is just a slight rise in the bottom. Probably the poorest one of them all.

IF YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE THE 2 HOUR DRIVE FROM CLEVELAND, FISH AVON POINT. HAVE DONE WELL THERE IN THE PAST, EVEN AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. ALTHOUGH THE BEST CHANCE FOR A LIMIT IS DEFINETLY IN THE ISLANDS. I AM HEADING UP THERE IN THE MORNING. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP IT SAFE. EYE PROBLEM
