These 50 /200 khz.(37 degree/ 12 degree) transducers have been around for a few years on the LMS 350's. I know it was designed for deep open water , but is it also good for structure fishing for walleye in rivers and lakes? Will this transducer show a 1/4 oz. jig on both views at 40 ft? Is the dual signal transducer better for fine detail than the regular 20 degree transucer? I'm suspicoius that some of the pros have secretly been using the 50/200 khz transducer for a while. Could this be where Vexlar got the idea for their new Edge2 unit with two tranducers and the split screen format.

No, what you need is a 20 degree transducer, ( one inch crystal ) the 50/200 khz, transducer is a 2 inch crystal, and does not pruduce the clearer returns as does the 1 inch.
