Has anyone tried any night fishing at Pueblo yet? I am thinking about trying it sometime soon.

I haven't however I was wondering where you like to go? I have fished the timber on the west side and haven't had any experience fishing the dam or the east side yet. Do you like a particular area? Do you pick up alot of wiper at night?

I have been fishing Cherry Creek alot the last five years at night. Nothing but small fish to show for. I haven't fished Pueblo at night yet. Dave Kooser and Art kelm fish there alot, maybe they will respond to this post.

Crankin Eyes and I trolled Cherry Creek dam at night last week and didn't pick up any fish. There was an army of men on the dam fishing, so apparently DOW isn't enforcing the April 15th rule.

I think the spawn is pretty much over. Now they're all laying on the bottom smoking cigs. LOL.

I did not night fish the dam this year, too busy with finishing the basement and garage. I did spend two days out there about two weeks ago. Fished hard for eyes and then gave up. Digressed to my Texas bass days, put on the rubber Texas rigged worms and slayed the bass in the shallows.

I did all right last Saturday at Bonny. No walleye's but I caught about a dozen White bass and Wipers. If it would warm up a little I would probably go night fishing somewhere?

Several years ago, we caught a lot of small walleyes over the period of two nights down there. We were fishing on the north side in that cove betwen the sailboarders beach and the dam, throwing #12 huskie jerks up against the bank. If memory serves me correctly it was the fifteenth and sixteenth of April, I dont get down that way too often.

Sorry to say I have not been out lately. Sold the Superfisherman 170 and now busy rigging the 190. But, as soon as the boat is done you can bet the first place I am going to fish at night ids the dam at Pueblo.
