went to the end of ditch today,,,mid day....little boat still...got two real nice coho right away in 8-15 ft of water and then it stopped...charter did fair this morning at us steel and had a second charter tonite...fished more or less in port/ditch area and got 13 coho...not a hot bite....i dropped a nice rod and 6500 ambassodor reel at the mouth into the lake...thats the second rod and reel in 10 yrs so i guess i have not too much to complain about...steve...the coho are getting large....3-4 lbs...buddy caught a couple of limits right at the mouth last wk so there is still some fish to be had...steve

Sorry to hear about you losing a rod. I appreciate the report on the big lake. Eric and I went to Flint last evening for 2 hours and really did not do well. Not enough time to get to Shorewood. What days do you work and what days are you free? We would still like to take you crappie fishing at Shorewood. Time to play seems hard to come by these days!
