Sounds like water levels and useable boat ramps are the biggest obstacles.

Went last weekend and water level is good. I show 17' below normal. Use the County Rd 29 ramp. Crappy are turning on so bring minnows. We got pinned by a 8 hour windstorm on the south shore at the bridge but managed to pick up a couple of crappy and one wiper. We missed one big fish that we couldn't get to the boat. I'll bet that the lake will really turn on in the next two weeks.

We went to John Martin. The other resevoirs I heard were extremely low. I was fishing for saugeye mainly and ended up picking up the other fish with the white jig.

A co-worker went to NeeNoshi over the weekend and caught a bunch of white bass and about 7 wiper, with the largest at 26". He also said he saw boats as large as 20' on the water. Use the north boat ramp,(it is a gravel ramp) The process they used for loading/unloading is to back out a way and then allow the trailer to go off the side of the ramp. We used to do this all of the time at NeeGronda at the east ramp during high water. The north ramp is about 3/4 to 1 mile North of the inlet canal right off of hwy 287.
