Hey guys, what jigging colors seem to be working the best? I'll be heading out Thursday morning with my dad.

green has been by best, with char. and blue and white tied for second.

How much longer will the fish be running in the river? Kinda new to the river but learning. Thanks in advance.

ice out to ice in, only reason I quit last year was waterfowl season

Big numbers about 4-6 more weeks, but there is always a catchable population. We tend to fish the mouth of lake erie in the summer and early fall jigging still and catching limits for the boat in a couple hours. Handlining and casting jigs at night is productive all summer on the river.

Will be out wed. morning,thurs aft, then I think im going to go up to the saugeen river for a couple days, I here there crushing the steelies, got to try out the new st.croix.
