Anyone catch any oddities this year on the river yet, Myself I got a jack coho handlining, any other unusual fish been caught?

Well this will come close. I was vertical jigging during the MWT tournamen Apr 21 when I set the hook on a rock, at least it didn't budge when I set the hook. All of a sudden the "rock" starting running upstream and I couldn't turn it. It didn't have blazing speed so I leam more towards a Sturgeon than a Muskie! Never saw it, but it was BIG! LOL

Not necessarily an oddity, but I hooked and landed about a 34" musky, also during the MWT. Seems we take one or two every spring now. I almost always fish the deeper stretches of the river, and these fish are coming out of 40 feet of water - that seems quite odd to me.

Oh yeah, also hooked and landed a condom prefishing for the MWT. Not much of a fight though.............

hooked a 13 inch shad the other day and i also hooked a old fishing net that i thought was somthing big my father hooked a shoe before
