Has anyone seen an X15 used on the water yet? I was talking to a guy the other day about the X15, and he said that it's much faster on the water than it is in display mode. The only reason I can come up with for that is that there's loads of processor overhead involved in running the display program. I know that the X15 has a super fast processor, and it doesn't seem to make sense, although it may be possible. Does anyone know for sure?

I talked to a guy from Reed's at the Mpls. boat show a few days ago, and he told me that the demo is an actual recording, not a simulation, which is why the demo speed can't be changed. I think the maximum scroll rate is 20 pixels/sec. They may have recorded the demo at a lower rate to get better detail?
