How is the clarity? Figured all this rain would have wiped it out for a week.

Some reliable info I got, says between midnight and 3 has been unbelievable in 9-18 feet of water, with the bigger fish showing up alot better than during the day. It looks like the bigger ones are starting to change over to strictly nocturnal. And the big draw is alot fewer silvers and smallies and boats!

Tiger weather,I just love a 10 mph wind and rain, must have picked it up duck hunting,I don't know how much it improves the fishing,I'am positive it does, but it cuts the compititon down to nothing,as for night fishin I know a couple of guy's have't been fishin during the DAY, Yet and they slay all the Big Dogs, man, I can barely imagine it being any better, but I will find out this week, can't believe I took first place in the DWF Tournament,Hit DWFonline.com and they have some pic's,oh yes before I forget Hunter when u use the piggy back method do u lose any lure's to bite offs?? C U on the river,

Saw the pic's, have seen you plying the river a few times, will say hello next time I see you. "piggybacking" yeah a few biteoffs but always a muskie those eyes have trouble cutting 20# line. The scary thing is getting up past the first lure and hoping nothing wants to run anymore, did a trip to E.R. a couple years ago. It hasnt worked that well for me, but I have to think in the summer when they are real shallow at night, or are suspended over weeds this would work very well. Anyways its always fun to try something different, anticipation makes up for lack of success.(you had to mention duck season, another thing I cant wait for. How come all us river runners just cant get enough ever?)

I don't know how come we can't get enough of the river, I think it's Obsessive Complusive behavior with delusions of grandure..busy mounting a pile of snow geese we plowed in Iowa,

Hey, sounds like great fishing! Also sounds like you're strictly pulling wire. You up in Wyandotte area? The jiggers doing any good?

Hunter

Been fishing fighting and mud islands, salt mines, morton terminal and the steel plants. Jigged last week 2 of 3 limitted and we picked our limits, the third caught 1. 4-6 inch rubber with half a worm is the way to go jigging and if you dont use fireline, spend the extra couple dollars it makes a difference.

Yep pullin wire, there's never been a worm in my boat and have't drown any minnow's all year. The jigger's are producing very well clear bluebird days and clear water are the days for jigging I think the eye's see my heavy leader and shy away, thats why I love that dirty water

TIGER WEATHER this weekend, checking out if Saginaw Bay Walleye club has any openings for there tourney this weekend, heading out tonight and ,hopefully pound it all weekend, have you been out at the mouth, going to compare nite to day,my buds say I'am silly to even bother w/daylite and the boat traffic,I tell ya these are the good ole days,if you like we can set something up and maybe through in a fish fry, could definitly use some tips on using bottom bouncers and controled depth trolling

I just got home little after noon was out at 6:15 in the fog. Was pretty funny we fished the markers in front of Fighting, and listened to almost every other boat that come out do circles about 500 yards away. Buy a gps. Worked hard for our limits, could have kept about 150#s of silvers, and tons of smallies. I dont think i will be out during the day for at least a couple weeks. Just too many incidentals.

Yea, incidentals, had one guy cross in front of my bow, the next circle he went across my leaders and the next circle he was headed at me dead center only two boats in site and this guy all most rams me,
