Have the recent rains muddied the waters around Vermilion, or would this be a possibilty for Monday? Wanna try tomorrow morning if fishable (weather permitting). Any help appreciated...

Fished Lorain to West of Vermillin today. Water was very good not to worry about that. Not much happenin steady yet. Stick to the islands.

Thanks GR...I will be heading to Vermilion due to time constraints. If walleye aren't there, then perhaps perch.

Again, thanks.

The fish are there. Worked the trough just north of Vermillion west almost the castle on Friday. We ended up with 28 (2 shy of the limit) Fish are concentrated in the 31 foot area pretty well. Most came off of 30 jets and flat lined reef runners all run off of the boards. Anything chartruse or gold is dynamite. Good luck out there, the rain shouldn't have done too much harm and we have only had south winds lately. Good luck to all

Heard about some new walleye spoons that are plated in color. Can anyone tell me about them and where I might be able to purchase a couple of them.I fish from Lorain to the Islands.

Plated spoons are FinTail spoons made by Pa's lure comp. "Rudy". Have them at the Den's Sportsmans Outpost in Vermilion. Call around made in Ohio should be available locally or order on line here at WC products page.
