Anyone having any luck this weekend. ##### cold fronts. Didn't make it up there Wednesday, will try next Wed. LCL if you're up there, what type and color of boat do you use. Thought maybe I could say howdy and see where all the fish are. Thanks, Boggsy

Hi Boggsey,
I can't help with the action at Pymatuning but since i see you fish it quite a bit i thought i would ask a question of my own, if you don't mind. I may be relocating to the Cleveland area this summer, east side probably, and was wondering how long a trip it is from the east side of the city to pymie? Also, what other lakes can I feel comfortable on with my 16' lund/25hp. rig?
use email if you like: scott_davison@suth.com

Thanks for your time,
scott, Syracuse, NY

Scott,
depending how far east of Cleveland you're probably looking at about 45 minutes to an hour. Only problem you have, you'll have to sell the 25hp and buy a 9.9 hp for Pymy. Nothing much more up around Cleveland, you'd have to head south. Maybe Mosquito Lake North of Warren, or Berlin Lake southeast of Akron.

Thanks for the info. did not know Pymie had an HP restriction. Can you run with a trolling motor if the main engine is out of the water? or is it nothing bigger than a 9.9 on the boat? looks like this might be my time to get the bigger rig for Erie!!

thanks again.

You are allowed to have any motor on your boat. You are only allowed to use a max 10 hp gas motor. All electrics are ok. I have a 200 & a 9.9. You can have them in the water too. That is how we steer. Also the props can stay on.
