Anyone tried using these on their plugs? I like to fish wiggle warts in 18-20 in current, but they don't quite ride the bottom like I prefer. What size and how do you apply them?

I use the suspendots only on my neutrally bouyant lures. I guess they might work in your situation if you need very little extra weight, but they make very, very slight adjustments. You will probably find out it takes too many to get the desired effect that you want, which could also affect the action of the lure. I apply them evenly along the belly of the lure until I get the proper weight in the water. Another thing you might consider is using a superline and/or a split shot to get your lure to run deeper.

Just be sure not to over do it and play with them alot. Too much weight and the lure wont work right. But they will sink like a rock.

I HAVE USED THE DOTS AND STRIPS ON # 11 FLOATING RAPALAS IN THE PAST. I PLACE THEM IN FRONT AND BEHIND THE MIDDLE TREBLE HOOK ON THE BELLY. PUT A FEW ON AT A TIME UNTIL YOU CAN GET THE LURE TO BE SLIGHTLY HEAVY ON THE FRONT. CONTINUE TO ADD AS NEEDED AND CHECK IN A SINK OF WATER UNTIL THE LURE SINKS AND THE HOOKS JUST TOUCH THE BOTTOM OF THE SINK. SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF WORK BUT IT IS WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT. THIS IS MY # 1 LURE IN SD TAILRACE FISHING AND IT WORKS BIG TIME. WITH THE LURE A LITTLE HEAVY ON THE FRONT IT REDUCES THE SNAGS. HOT COLORS HAVE BEEN BLACK AND SILVER, BLUE AND SILVER, AND CHARTRUSE AND WHITE IF YOU CAN FIND IT.
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING
