Bass season is closed until June 16. Muskies are hitting pretty good. Haven't heard much on walleyes lately in the lake.

go to www.welcometotheswamp.com

Bass Haven site, from the Ontario side of Lake Erie. There is a major amount of fishing rigs that go through that area during the spring...all year for that matter. Click on Old Swampy and you should find some recent reports.

Bagman, most any where you fish the lake you will find something. If you have a boat you can launch from Metro beach and go south and you will catch a varied stinger from pike to musky to walleye and numerous kinds of panfish. Selfridge field launch is another good spot. Check out that website daily , it does change rapidly.

Fishhogg, we are fishing on LSC Sat. and Sun. Delphine channel to Det. River. We have been getting walleyes jigging at the mouth of the river. Try 3/4 oz. jigs with a twister tail and 1/2 of a crawler, you should get fish. FISH ON AL ><> ><>

Fishhogg, the lakes boiling right now temps in the mid upper 60's mayfly hatches at night. This is FREE FISHING WEEKEND in Michigan, I believe it includes non resident but I "wish" U.S. citizen only. Check witH Michigan DNR at www.dnr.state.mi.us/ this may it minus com? Walleye bight will be tougher during the day with all the drifting bait, not the case at night though. Musky hot and heavy, smallmouth out of season and barbaric. Big cats are spawning, perch are in the deeper cuts, waters down ramps will be packed if you should get in a jam here the private ones fill in last and usaully only 5$ same as state daily, Taking the wife this weekend, supposed to be bright and beautiful 70 degree weather with clouds building up in the evenings. Michigan anglers take somebody who might not fish yearly this weekend. Keep good company take a fisherman!

If you want to catch some of them big brown sunfish I have always done very well in front of St Clair shores. There is a big bar that comes out there with some rock and weeds. About straight out from the gas pump signs.
