I am heading up to Erie Sat and Sunday and it doesnt look like much wind is in the forecast and Im not much into trolling and without wind Ive never done well. Anyone know if the perch are doing anything yet?? Thanks in advance
Fished out of Lorain Thur. The radio chatter sounded like a few perchers where doing ok, but most where strugling. Fish flies are hatching so... tough bite.

Fished out of Huron on Friday fished between Huron and Vermillion pulled 7 fish most 5 on crawler
Harness/ with mac smile blades . The other 2 came on Reef Runners 1 on a copperhead and 1 on confusion at 100 back and 150 back . The fish we got were nice 23 in to 27 1/2 in . Lost one nice one harness broke at the boat !!!! The harnesses we were pulling 1.5 speed over ground the cranks at 2.0 to a little over.

ETT, how did you do on Thursday? We fished Friday north of the castle, and pulled nine. Seemed like a tough bite, but did our best with Reef Runner 80 ft back. Way too many white bass.
We finaly got our 18 but had to work for em. 20 Jets and scorpions back 125 or 150 worked as did Dipsys w/scorpions. Purples and gren/blues on gold or copper seemed best.
