What stage of spawning are the eyes in
I talked to a couple of guys who said they were catching males a week and a half ago that were milky.
How long do they spawn for.

Some friends fished today at Waubay-water temp was 41-42 degrees. Caught 80% males--they were dripping....the 20% females were not quite ready--eggs still firm in the two they cleaned. Hope this helps you.

I fish the Missouri river, and no the spawn is not over. It's been reported up at Chamberlain that the lot was full of non SD plates, the cleaning station was full of females being cleaned and eggs all over the place. It floors me that people don't give a @#** about our resources.
P.S I do realize that local people do kill females, But it still gets me when we are over run by non SD plates.

Don't you realize the name of the game is "Dollars" and nothing else counts with GF&P. You are a second class citizen in your own state because you are't coming in with a fist full of bucks to buy our pheasants, deer, fish and whatever else there might be. (There, like they say, "If you think it you might as well say it".)
