Fished Northwest of Lorain on Saturday. We had a blast catching a ton of small eyes (15-18 inches). We never got all the rods set!!! Our largest was 5lbs. Was just wondering where the larger school of big eyes were at? I haven't heard anything and I know someone is on them.

Friends over at Fairport are getting into some big eyes. They're moving east that's the only sure thing. There's stil smelt around Lorain, but we are being overrun with small walleyes, white bass, sheephead and white perch.
If you are wanting to learn Dipsy, Jets, litle boards, or any trolling techniques, you can get alot of experience quick right now. Many many biters, just not enough good walleyes.
