I've spent the last three weekends up there. Fishing has been excellent for all species. The mayfly hatch started, at least I noticed two weekends ago. Last weekend, it was pretty thick near Techumseh/Pike Creek. It seemed to slow the fishing down some. BAss Haven is the best place for information. The water is in beautiful shape.

smallmouth fishing was awesome two weekends ago! caught between 60-75 in 1 1/2 days fishing. let them all go of course. caught a couple of muskie and some of the biggest rock bass I have ever seen. no eyes, but i hear the rivers have been extremly productive.

Weed edges trolling and drifting early will take walleye crawler harnesses and rapalas 2.5, casting rattle traps into pockets, along edges will take 2 smallies for every walleye. Nitestalkers, bombers, stick baits are on at night in the Channels. Musky and fishflies are going also.
