You can look at the DNR report on this website: http://www.state.ia.us/fish/ I think the stable weather is helping the bite, at least that is what I've heard. I was up there last weekend after the storms and they didn't bite very well at all. I ended up catching bluegills around docks. I'd start at the bait shops and see what they say. Good luck
