I have a nice big john planer mast and a set of light PatCo boards, they dont handle well in 3 footers on Erie...i was wondering where would be a good place to get a set of custom boards made? I was told the heavier the better because they pull better and take the waves nicer...is this true...if any1 knows a good weight/dimensions for some beards let me know please...i really would like to be able to run some more rods without worring about my boards flippin and having a big mess.....thanx

Heavier boards definitly will do the trick in rough weather. I work on a charter and we use the heavier boards. They are custom, but I don't know the weight or dimensions but they are very heavy. It also allows the releases to ride down the line better because of the increased tension on the line. I'm sure there is a website somewhere that has dimensions on it. Good luck.

I would like to make them...but if i can buy them that is even easier...if some1 would just hook me up with some dimensions/instructions to build them it would be a lot easier...
Wet Net...HOW MUCH WOULD U CHARGE TO BUILD THESE BOARDS, and how much do they weigh?
