Going to Mobrige this Friday. Would appreciate any
fishing reports. I have a few websites I check, but
they seem to update only about once a week. Thanks
in advance.

Just got back from Whitlock, that whole area is good I'd put in at Walth Bay and about a mile north of there is a pump house on the bay side of the river. There is some high banks there and a long point with two posts on it that have always produced for me. We do real well down south as well Akaska and the mouth of the Moreau. Lots of 14-15 inchers and some over the slot 18-20. Good luck.

I fish the area north of mobridge about 20 miles,or south of Pollock about 10 miles. Been there 4 weekends over the last month and a half, and have done very well. 90% of the fish are around that 14" size with a few around that 16" size. We catch around 65 fish a day, 3 guys, and keep around 30 a day. If you are looking for a great time and some great eating fish that is the place to go, but if you are looking for that big fish, don't get your hopes up, they are just not there.

I fished the area most of last week. Had good luck earlier in
the week, but the bite slowed down a lot on the weekend. As the others have said- lots of 13-14 inchers, but enough over 15 inches to keep it interesting, I released a 25 1/2 incher as the biggest of the week. Need some stable weather to get the bite going again as most fish late in the week were biting very light.

Good Luck

Just returned from a 3-Day trip. Fished just north of Mobridge on various points. Caught a ton of walleyes. Brought home our limit(42). Most in 16-20 feet of water. Jig and Minnow or Lindy Rig. Don't limit yourself to just minnows. Try crawlers and leeches...they turned on some nice fish for us.
