I have a Quantum micro lite and I love it I use it for everything from trout to crappie to walleyes. Last fall I had a twister tail jig on and nailed a 6# walleye. The rod performed flawlessly. Just my two cents.

I think the Micro Lites are a fair deal. The only major drawback I see is that the ML models are all two piece. Not sure if you had noticed but the Micro Lites are only $29.99 on the web right now. They were 34.95 in 2000 and are up to $39.99 in the 2001 catalog.
I did notice another rod BPS has on sale that you might be interested in. If you still have a BPS Christmas catalog they have the Billy Westmoreland signature rods on sale for $29.99 through the end of January, then they go to $49.99. While I don't own one of these I have checked it out at the store and I think they would make a nice walleye jig stick. At $49.99 think they are still ok, but at $29.99 these are a bargain.
