Can anyone tell me where they are catching perch at western Lake Erie? I fished off Marblehead and about 2 miles east of Kelleys on Friday afternoon and didn't do well at all. I was in a big pack of boats off Marblehead, but by myself off kelleys.

Dan, My brother went out off of marblehead friday and got only 9 perch and I went out saturday out by rattlesnake and in by the catawba yacht club bouy and didnt do any good at all. Ive heard its slown down with the perch in the island area, but the walleye presence is unbelievable- are the eyes chasing them out???
Dan, I think the perch have gone to deep water. I was catching perch steady here in the central basin up until about a week ago and overnight they were gone. I was catching them in 35 ft of water and they were tight to the bottom. When i couldn't find them I tried working out to deeper water with no luck. Only a few here and there. It appears that they have really spread out. I will be coming up to the western basin next week. If you find them and have any success please post. Try heading east of Kelly's in a little deeper water. Good luck!
