Heading out later this week for my first trip to McConaughy this year. Work and personal things caused me to miss all the early fishing. Was wondering about the water level this year and how the action has been lately? Are all the ramps usable? Thanks.

Water levels? I'm not sure, but when I was there during labor day it seemed all ramps were open although the lake seemed about 10+ feet low.

Ken, we fished the last two days, early morning seems to be better. If the wind stays in the south fish the north side. water is pretty low but most ramps are still useable.we have been catching fish in 10 to 20 feet of water drifting leeches. hope this helps email me if you need more info.
