Can anyone help me please? I purchased my new bottom line HR Tourney and followed to rather difficult instructions in the book for the GPS . . . . whew. They name each item in order, but no sequence as to what to do for each thing wanted. Here's my challenge, would anyone care to e-mail me with a step by step process for pressing each botton to start a route, mark weight-points and to see the route happen on the screen; then several different ways to use the thing? I tried to follow the book, and am completely lost. I can get nothing but an "x" and "s" with a straight line between them. I really want to follow a breakline and see it on screen and to be able to mark weightpoints where I come into contact with fish. Can you help? E-mail: A-Moraski1@msn.com

I had the same problem. In fact I never did figure mine out & ended up buying a Lowrance 160. Wow this thing is idiot proof.
My niece, who is 9 years old, uses it when we are out. The bottomline unit is old technology. It is overpriced & unreliable
I do own 2 tournament master HRs. I honestly wish I never bought either of them. The big screens are a plus, but the night vision is garbage compared to any Lowrance. I would say that the bottomlines are a good graph but there is definitley a reason why they only get 5-10% of the total market.Hope this helps.
Scooter, thanks

I am beginning to feel that way also. I also rigged a Zircom2000 on my rig, and it's just like having a graph -- and super-sensitive. Picked up stuff my bottom-line missed. I wish I could start over and not have purchased the BottomLine, but now I'm stuck and need to learn how to figure out the GPS.
Thank you, Art

I own a Tournement Master hr w/o the GPS and wished I never purchased the high priced unit. I have sent it back 3 times, for black, heavy vertical lines, no fish marks and for not accepting the 2nd transducer,(wide angle). I equipped my previous boat with an Eagle Ultra Classic and was far more impresssed with that unit than with the Bottom Line. I never get a straight answer from Bottom Line, so I purchased a Garmin 240 that is mounted on my trolling motor, and when I slow down on a spot that the Bottom LIne shows promising , the Garmin shows the fish, not thew Bottom Line. Very disappointed.

I also have a tournament master. I have sent the unit in 2 times for problems with the GPS. I could not get a signal. It would always say signal is weak. I have a portable Garmin GPS 3 that I use instead. I have problems marking fish and I always get false fish readings on the surface. The speed is always off. I wish I never purchased this unit. I going to give up I and pruchase a Lowrance 85 and global map. At least i could mark the depth and fish while moving with that unit.
