Bass Lake Indiana

Just got home from an evening on Bass Lake and the only good thing about it was that gas prices in Knox are a bit cheaper than Valpo. Got on the water about 6 PM and drifted the 20' hole in front of the marina to about 8' of water with no takers.
Moved to the area in front of the pump working 4' to 20' with no takers and then to Cranberry Point region with no luck. We tried minnows and jigs, leeches, crawlers and casting twister tails and jigs. It was dead! Beautiful night out tonight but I think the fish were just enjoying the water! Any info is appreciated!

sorry, i cant help you out footdoc. it sounds like the last outing i had on lake michigan for perch. maybe they are all getting ready for the fourth of july celebrations? maybe we ought to do the same! was the water level way down? last time i was there it was very shallow. we were draging mud a long way from the public launch. i understand that the boatdealer on the lake is having quite a time renting his boat docks out this year. good luck on the fishing. hope to see some good fishing reports for perch on mich. pepe
