Detroit lodging

Does anyone have any suggestions or websites for lodging for trips to the Detroit river? I usually stay at the Best Western in Woodhaven. That's fine for my trip in April but would probably make more trips if I could find a little less expense place to stay. I get alot of weekdays off and would like to make more trips. Thanks for any information or suggestions.

I have stayed at the Sleep Inn in Flat Rock. It was a little less expensive than the Best Western and newer. It's one exit south from the Best Western. 3 floors tho. If you have a boat, you'll have to get a room on the first to plug in the charger.
