We have been ice fishing a small (600 acre) lake and finding some 'eyes, but as of late nothing. The fish we have taken have been on #7 jigging rapalas and #4 gold hooks both tipped with 4" shiners. I have tried rattling spoons and swedish pimples with no luck at all. The area where we ahve taken fish does not appear to have any structure or other areas that would indicate it would hold fish. The water is very cloudy. The bottom is very flat with little change in depth. The deepest spots are only 10' feet or so. All of our fish have been taken at the 10' level. There one creek inlet but we have had no luck near the mouth. The depth here is only 4'. There is also one outlet but we have not fished it. The depth there is about 7'.
Should we be searching the slightly deeper spots (12-13') or keep trying the same areas where we have had success? There are some islands but the water seems shallow within 50' of these. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found this post on p.3 with no replies. I guess everyone was involved in the feud and this sneaked by ;).

If the lake is really as featureless as you say than there aren't really locations I can suggest. However, if you've been staying put in one area you might want to change your strategy to more of a run and gun approach.Drill lots of holes and fish each individual holes for only a short time until you find active fish.

The later the year gets you will find more fish in the deepest section of the lake. The reason is that the oxygen gets depleted shallow. You should find most all specis in the deepest section.

I would also suggest renting or borrowing a camara to see if there are fish below you. We use our camara ice fishing often and you would be amazed at how many fish are down there and dont bite.
