Began fishing the Northwest side of the pack 3 miles out of Pt Clinton for about 2 hours and only managed 1 decent eye- also didnt see many nets dipping. I decided to make the run to the North Side of West Sister about 4 miles past in 28ft of water. we had the rest of our 23 fish at about 3pm. There was a huge break in the bite from 1-2:30 and then picked up the last 6 fish in about 15 mins, no hogs but good eaters 15-23in. Most of the fish were caught on gold weapons and very slow retrieve also red and white erie dearie. The beauty of it all is there was not a boat within a mile or so. So far this has been one of the best years in recent memory for the eyes, keep em comin!
