Fished yesterday afternoon and "limited" between 4:00-7:00 in
21 ft. of water. My last fish to my surprise was not a sheepshead but a nice 3 or 4 lb walleye! All my fish were taken at or near the bottom on Erie Dearies and Hot -n- Tots, rainbow colors worked well! For those who may be interested, there seemes to be a good perch fishery here too. In the past couple of weeks I have caught a few 10 - 12 incher's. I may have dig out the perch harness. Wait a minute, I'm not s sure there's room in te freezer!

Happy Fishing.

4 man limit on Sunday, 9:00 AM to Noon, 17 Ft Lund, 4 miles due east out of Sterling State Park in 21 to 23 Ft of water. waves were flat. Trolled dipseys, 0 size, outside dipseys 20lb fireline were set at 3...45 ft back, Inside dipsey lines were set at 2...35 ft back. Trolled all Stinger spoons with 6 ft florocarbon leads off of dipseys. All spoons had copper color backs... watermelon, confusion, mongoose, kevorkian, shrimp colors. Color probably did not matter, fish hit on all rods. Walleye size was on the small side 15 - 23 inches, good eaters. One bonus, monster sheephead. 14 year old had a blast with that one.
