Another missed favorite by Tough Guy and perhaps others as an ice jigging lure is the old South Bend Super Duper. It is shaped much like a barrette, has some weight to it so it suspends nicely and tipped with a minnow or half minnow (ie Leechlake/Winnebago perch)makes a fine vertical jigging weapon. Casts well in soft water also, but never as effective as a little cleo on any species during soft water times.
Juls- We drive by your neighborhood store regularly but have never taken the opportunity to stop at the smiley barn. Some day maybe.
