Was out Sat. and the bite was slow where we were. We marked a ton of fish north of C-can on the firing range but only had 4 takers. You might try calling Fenwick Marina at 419-898-7009 or stop there in the morning. They can provide current locations and colors that are working.
Good luck,Gill

The fish are still on, but trolling has been the best bet lately. The casters have struggled a bit this past week. I was out saturday night for 2 hours 2 miles nw of Rattlesnake. We were casting gold bladed weapons with 1/2 oz weight on a 10 count. Two of us caught 6 fish in 20 minutes then the bite died. Sunday we trolled dipseys and spoons and caught a 3 man limit in 3 hours. Only saw 1 fish netted by a drifter in those 3 hours. Started at 45/55. You'll mark fish solid out there, catching will be the trick!

Leaving THU morning to stay in the Turtle Creek area. Any up to date reports? Where is the main school? Hot colors? Thanx for the assistance, and I will report back on Monday!

YES middle numbers top and bottom are what people on Erie mean when they give two sets of numbers. In this area the first set of numbers are 41N and 82W so Tracy is referring to 41.45N and 82.55 W.

Fishing has been good a few miles NW of these numbers the last few days. Try 48 and 58 as a starting point. Trolling Dipseys with stinger scorpions and also harnesses. Purples and Hammered Golds/Coppers.
Good Luck,
Steve

Steve,
Is the size getting any better, or still mostly eaters? Out of Lorain, I am still getting 95% in the 15-18 inch range. Thanks

Mike,
Last Sat I fished a couple miles S/SW of the numbers in this post and took the smallguys. Two of us caught 20 eyes to keep 12 in just a few hours. Sun, Mon, Tue this week friends at these approximate numbers in my post above caught some nicer fish - 18 to 25 inches. There were some nicer fish caught NE of Lorain last Sun. I don't know the numbers but it was NOT by the sandbar.
Good Luck,
Steve
