I am looking for a source for clear plastic crankbaits. I have tried using nail polish remover on several different brands but they all seem to be a white plastic base or they have some type of texture material under the paint. Would something be better than polish remover?
Thanks

I believe bomber used to make a clear model. I'm not sure if they still do though. Might be worth checking.

Bomber did or does make them. I have two that a friend gave me. Theyr'e charteuse on the top with sparkle texture and rattles. Haven't used them yet, so I don't know how well they work.I have a shallow and a deep diver.

I belive most of the component manufactures sell clear plastic crank baits. I know stamina tackle out of minnesota sells them (or used to sell them). I can't come up with their web-site but someone should know it. MarbleEye's
Sorry i don't have an answer for you, but i do have a few related questions. Why would you want clear cranks for walleyes? What's the theory behind this and how would you use them?

I am mainly interested in them when I go to Canada and go after smallmouth in clear water after catching some eyes. (catch a few walleyes for shore lunch and then smallies for fun) I have read and or heard that clear crankbaits in clear water provide enough flash and you get a reaction strike with out the fish taking a hard look at the bait. Would like to try it.

Look at the Lil' Bit Clear Water series under hard baits.
I have purchased a number of items from this person. He is reputable and good to work with. He also has a sale on right now.
