I'll be headed up to Barcelona, NY or North East, PA later this week. I know that the PWT contestants didn't really smash them but has anyone fished this area since the PWT? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
gang how are you? seems the triangle area of erie is where to be, to long of a run for me, i was up that way this cweekend and didn,t hear much from anybody, you might want to try poor richards bait shop they may be able to help out.

Fished out of Dunkirk Wed-Sat (except Fri - 6-8 footers). Wed/2 walleyes & 2 steelhead; Thurs/1 walleye & 1 steelhead; Sat/2 walleyes. Toughest fishing out of Dunkirk that we have ever experienced during the month of August.

Bill, I've got to believe that the Hogs are still there. I haven't been out since the week of the PWT, but I know that you're neighbor Fred's been doing OK out there. I don't save numbers, but if you give him a holler, I'm sure he's got some he'd share with you. We're hoping to get out there in two weeks to give it a shot. My wife gave me an extra weekend out there since I missed the tourney due to a heart attack. Nice gal! Let me know if you can make it out there over the holiday weekend..I think Fred's coming and a few others as well. Good Fishing, Chris

try 44/06 the fish been their most the year the pwt got them their,thats sturgeon pt.seems to be the most active this year latter ypull see the boats last wk they were at 45line just move around
