Mille Lacs Whats Up!

I normally fish Mille Lacs every weekend,but due to family commitments I've only been on the water once since early June. I finally have a free weekend! How are they biting on the big lake,and whats been hot. I'm not looking for those hard to get eater size slot fish, I'm looking to have fun.Should I fish the mud,the gravel,the rocks,deep or shallow. I only have one day I need to make the most of it. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

If you have good wind hit the shallow rock. It's been a ggod pattern all summer. Lodes of eyes, smallies, jumbos and the occassional muskie. If there's little to no wind hit the flats. Spinner and crawler on the edges or pulling cranks well off of the flats in no mans land from 12 ft down to the bottom.
