Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, in a land far away, a beautiful,
independent, self-assured princess happened upon a frog as
she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an
unpolluted pond in a beautiful meadow near her castle.

The frog hopped into the princess's lap and said: "Elegant
Lady, I was once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast
a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn
back into the young man that I am. Then, my dear, we can
marry and live in yon castle with my mother, where you can
bear my children and serve me for the rest of your life,
and feel grateful and happy doing so."

That night, as the princess dined on sautéed frog legs in a
white wine sauce, she chuckled to herself and thought: "I
don't think so."

Ishpeming = Chippewa for heaven or high place. Ishpeming live in high place. Fish hunt and exist in high place. To understand Ishpeming world movie may help. "Escanaba in da Moonlight" me think Menominee Jim character based on me. Ishpeming glad to see Tough Guy back. Ishpeming try to talk fish while here too. I take 3 legged dog Tripod to shanty soon for afternoon evening bite. Me likes jigging Rapalas in 7, 5 & 3, Swedish Pimples many sizes, Jig A Whopper, and lead heads with different war paint. Minnow or fish eye tipped. Some times set tip up for aligator mouth.

Ahhh...Ishpeming native fisherman, maybe know blood brother Tonto, Lone Ranger assistant. Tonto do well in restaurant business, have all can eat walleye buffet $5.95. Tough Guy go there when ice to thick for auger, get discount for Tough Wife and meself. Tough Guy understand 3-legged dog tripod fishing, remind him of great grandfather TOG fishing method. Tough Guy thinking of holding seminar for future Tough Guys. Maybe Ishpeming and Tonto help Tough Guy find recruits, must meet strict standards, not everyone can be a Tough Guy.
