Just back last night from Lake of the Woods--staying outside Kenora and made a run (through the waves) to Andrew Bay. Four guys limited out in less than an hour. Consistent 19-25" fish on leeches and 1/2-ounce jigs (because of the wind).
Fishing 25-35 feet deep. Algae in full bloom across the water, especially bad around Scottys Island.
Back out of the office on biz the next few days...what a holiday weekend!
