View Full Version : Dead Minnows?
I recently saw an in-fisherman movie where the guys were jigging with what appeared to be salted of perserved shiners. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about this, sounds like a great a way to keep minnows in Canada. T

Threw a couple bags in tackle box when I went to an outpost ran out of live minnows, switched to salted ones and the bite didn't slow one bit. Good thing to have in reserve.

up here in manitoba it is difficult to get live minnows, especially if you live out of the city....
most people use salted especially for icefishing and most gas stations sell them...
the same cannot be said for ontario where it is hard to find frozen at times....
it,s a real pain hauling live at 25 below....
