I plan to fish up on larsons reef friday, where is the nearest boat launch that I can safely put in a 20 ft. Tracker Targa? I was up there last Feb. and the water levels were quite low. Thanks for the advice.

There is a good ramp in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Its located on the South side of the channel and just East of the old bridge.

It is called Sawyer Park. Best launch in the area and protected if the wind blows (like it usually does this time of year).

Use the downtown launch. There is a fee (maybe $5/day) but it's a good launch and well worth the money. The Sawyer Park Launch is in the state park and it's very shallow (unless it's changed since this spring) when coming out between the islands.

Sawyer Park is in town, Sawyer harbor is in the state park. You can use either but if your unfamiliar with the state park site go downtown!
