Western Basin Eyes

As long as ole mother nature cooperates I'm looking to get back out on the lake after a hiatus for the birth of my daughter. Has anyone been picking up any eyes off of little cedar point or anywhere in the extreme western portion of the Good Lake Erie????????????

Well i have a cabin up around lake erie. I have heard some people say that it is slow up around there now and some say that it is great. The people saying that they are catching the walleyes say they are using firetiger, perch etc. with spoons. I dont kno if this will help you much but i thought i would tell you a little something. I bet your beste bet is just to go up and try.

I live on the western shores area, just a few miles from little cedar point, and involved in the fishing on a day to day basis. The walleye fishing here is zilch. Very few being caught sporadically by the perch fisherman. Huron was good last week but has slowed to nothing with the recent weather fronts
