I'M hearing that the crappies and walleyes are ready for the bite.The shad are in pretty thick has anyone been out at nite ,seems like the time is here. Also has anyone been fishing near colchester for smallies, they should be piling up as well.Thanks in advance Homer 10-10-2001, 09:45 AM We've been fish perch at Colchester this fall, and have caught a lot of accidental smallmouths while we've been out, so there's certainly some number of bass there. Haven't seen as many bass boats yet as in year's past, so maybe the fish haven't shown up in full force yet (or, maybe the bass fishermen are late in arriving).
