Just returned from a great week at Tobin---the fish are moving into the river, and so far the leech bite is producing fish up to the 13# range. We had very little success on plugs after dark--tho did see some taken on cranks during the daylight hours. We released 100% of our fish caught--hope to hold those fish again in the coming years...The leechs available in Nipawin are going fast--so make arrangements ahead--border crossing requires a picture ID. Gas at Fargo and Hillsboro was 1.16/gal.... ;-)

It looks like you had a good trip. What was the big one. Are big numbers of big fish beeing seen. Where did you catch them.

Glad to here there finally moving up.
What part of the river did you fish? Up near Eagle's nest? Or down in the first drfit/grassy sland area?
Im just trying to figure out how far up the fish have moved, since i haven't been there since the 6th.
