I saw the Catch Cam for sale here on this site on the products page. Very nice looking and there is a soft pack version too. Just gotta whip out the ol credit card and it is brought to your door! I played with one at the Midwest walleye Expo in milwaukee and they look great! I am getting one soon, myself.

I dont know much about the aqua view or the vista cam. but i did check them both out at gander mtn. and the sales person turned me on to the new underwater viewing system. This unit comes complete with everything you need to go out and fish. It retails for about $349.00. The model i picked up comes with the camera that has the red and green lights and also the infra red.I tried it out in my office (slow day). with lights out and it picked up any light that was leaking thru into the office. i then turned on the infrared lights and the picture got much better. then i turned on the red and green lights. and that really made a difference. I trying it out this week on the ice. The model i picked up was the vs-310. good luck and let me know what you by.

Let me know what you think of that model. I have had 6 Aqua-Vu's and had problems with them starting 3 last year JR series and 3 this year on the Z and MC series all with problems. I also have friends that have the Atlantis and the JR models. The JR models they have had several come back to dealers as the units are shorting out. I tried the OVS out but it was only the ice fishing model but no problems. I am going to try out a Seaview model this weekend as I was waiting for a friend to, but he did not yet. I am looking for a clear monitor screen on them and also around 100' cord. I noticed in our area lakes that the Color on the MC was like a complete white out. Me and my friends could not see anything at all with it. The regular Z sitting beside the MC could at least see up to a 1 1/2 with it. I went back the the Z after the MC and the cable went bad. Also Aqua Vu changed the focal length that made the cameras fuzzy and also none adjustable unless you send them in. Suppose to be clearer in the water, but around here it never did come clear in ND.

I've got an aqua vu for ice fishing and think it's great.I tried to use it in the summer downrigging. Don't even think about it.
I bought a strike vision system I use for trolling deep, when downrigging. It's the only thing for that job.
Just be sure you get the right unit for the job, and you'll be happy.
