Went to Lake Wisconsin yesterday. We fished the " narrows " and took several small walleyes. I was wondering if anyone has fished this lake in the fall and when is the best time to fish this lake.
Thanks..

I was there last weekend and we did OK at the top of the narrows. There were some guys that did pretty well by the bluff north of the narrows but we didn't really have much luck there on Sat. so we stayed down farther. My dad & I like the fall the best. Seems the weather is a little more stable. We got 10 keepers between 16 and 18 and several dozen 14 to 15. Seemed like the fishing was better the windier it was. I haven't kept fish in years and my Dad hadn't cleaned fish and cooked them up in years either so we kept some. Felt a little guilty, but I feel entitled to a couple of fish every couple few years.

Fish the Lake only in the Spring and mostly in the fall. You can catch alot of undersized fish but the action usually is pretty consistent jigging minnows on the drops 17' to 24'. Some people rip zip baits by the bridge. Okee bay in the current is a good place to try. South end of lake is good around the drop offs in timber.
Good Luck.
Also go to www.lake-link.com There are guys posting there alot about the lake.
