I just returned from two nights of fishing at LBDN and the action was awesome! Even the day bite produced fish! I can say nothing but good things about the area. For those interested, we stayed at the Terrace Bay hotel which has a very modern fish cleaning station and the rooms are a bargin. As far as the fishing goes, we fished 30'-40' of water south of the Gladstone lauch and just west of an area called Black bottoms(?). There is a ledge that is no secret and we simply went out at 10PM and stayed until 3 or 4 AM to avoid the traffic. Saturday night, we checked the north end and the reefs looked to be decorated with Christmas tree lights with all the red and green lights moving around. Stayed away from the crowds and trolled the traditional deep diving baits at slow speeds and found many pods of active big fish. I appreciate the resource and look forward to returning to the area in the future. If I had any complaint, I was disappointed not to have caught enough "eaters".
Footdoc! Hey it's been a long time since I've seen you in the chatroom! We used to talk about Lunds....Anyway, nice report! Talk about making it tempting to head up there this weekend! Thanks for the info!

Red:
How did the WU outing go? Sounds like you got some good fish. I am also a member and this is the first time in several years that I have missed the Nov outing. Way too busy to fish now, but by ice time I will be hitting it hard again.
Can you leave your first name? We probably know each other.

Bill....I'd say it was the excellent guiding service you provided. Now...if you'd only get that 2'nd console in your 619, things would really be great! I think we hooked another angler on LBDN. I got a call from Ron last night. He's going back up again on Monday.

Redranger, That big fish I landed was no more mine than yours. It was a pleasure to fish with you with a team effort. That was a team Walleye caught in your boat. If you noticed most of our fish were taken on the shore side of the boat. Have seen too many fishing trips where one guy gets all the fish so alternating landing fish seems to be the fairest way to go. So when people ask me who caught the fish I say the boat did. Good luck to you and Larry at Erie.
