Here is my Squirrel tale.
While deer hunting in Southern Minnesota I was leaning against a tree. I heard some scratching above me and looked up to see a red squirrel staring me in the face. I tried to poke him with my gun and he would just run around the tree and come back to the same spot. He was just out of reach for me to grab him with my hand. He was a fat squirrel and I thought he would be tasty for dinner. So, I brandished my deer knife and tried harvest this squirrel. He kept coming down the tree little by little. I finally thought he was close enough for me to wack him with the knife. I took a wack and just missed but I did manage to come away with his tale. Now this tale about a tail is all truth! However, nobody at camp believed me. Not even with the tail as evidence.
