Has anyone been fishing out of Fairport Harbor??? If so what results? Thankx in advance

We went perch fishing Saturday. Could not get into main lake until noon due to fog. Fished river for steelies with no luck for several hours. Got into main lake about 3 miles out and got 40 nice perch (2 of us). We did not get off the lake in time and got lost in fog and dark. What a nightmare, almost had to call coast guard but managed to use gps to slowly navigate back. Could not see either breakwall (or the front of the boat) while passing thru them. We were within 100 feet of the boat ramp before we could see the lights.

3 of us fished saturday 11/17 in the fog (couldn't see more thant 200 yds at 2:00 pm, much less in the am) for 5 hours for 6 jumbo perch in 40' of water, few other boats got none, heard of one that limited
3 of us back again sunday for 3 hours in 40'
got into them good for an hour, caught 26 nice 9-11, threw back few small ones, caught 1 @ 12-3/4", then bite stopped, went home
lots of boats in the pack just NW of the harbor,'bout a mile out
all fish caught JUST off of the bottom, maybe 6" to 1'
lots of people fishing from the pier and trolling for steelies, saw 1 caught sat, know of 1 caught trolling on sunday, marked LOTS of big fish at the east side of the harbor entrance against the concrete end of the breakwall saturday, casted some spoons and such, no hits
guessed they were steelies waiting for some rain
saw a repot after we fished from a charter that trolled on 11/16, 7 big 'eyes and 16 steelhead, in 20'-40'

we went out at 8:00 am REAL SLOW to 50', no fish, came back to 40 ', found a few
went out NW, came back SE, we were only a few hundred yds from the lighthouse before we could see it at 2:00 pm
ore boat went by us at 9:30 'bout 300-400yds away, could barely see the dark outline, just hear the horn, it was in front of us then suddenly it was behind us! pretty scary, maybe dumb, too
seemed like we were fishing a 5 acre lake all morning, that's all we could see
