fished the allegheny today for 5 hours below the highland park dam, ended up with 8 sauger nothing big, got 5 on 1/4 oz chartuse jig with a tennesee shad twister tipped with a fathead minnow and 3 on the ever reliable silver buddie, 4 fish came from between the docks and the island and 4 from a washout hole below the dam 21 to 26 foot, water temp was 51 degrees, talked with some other fellas who also got a few sauger but no one got any eyes that i know of, the best catch of the day was a snag that i got that turned out to be a american flag and flag pole which i will keep and proudly display at home, this may be just the biginning of things to come but for now its still a little slow, the hits on the jig and minnie were very very very light.
