Just curious~ Has anyone tried the same tactics we use off huron in the marblehead or mouse isle vicinty this time of year?
If so what were the results?.I know the fish are in these area`s in good numbers after water temps get into the 40` range...Thanks for any feedback.Tight lines

ETT recently posted info about a north of Kellys trip on his site. They caught some fish.

Len,

Until about 6-7 years ago Marblehead/Lakeside was the only area we night fished for eyes. We caught good numbers at times by casting cranks from the boat on a slow drift or anchor. I would say that trolling should be productive as well, but go out early and check for nets in the areas you're going to fish.

We always used Turinsky's ramp but after they built condo's there and closed the ramp, we started trolling Huron and just haven't gone back to try it! I don't know of another good ramp with a dock in that area, but if there is one I wouldn't mind trying it again myself.

You could use the ramp at East Harbor-That will put you in the area you want to be in.

Len You can use Mazurics' State ramp, the docks are out but you can still launch from there. I say this as I was there last week, I think they are still open.
