Is the fishing on the saginaw river picking up and is the river clearing up? If anybody has any info on trolling cranks on the river it would be very helpful I just bought a new kicker motor and I don't think that I can wait until spring to try it out. Thanks for the info.

Fished the Tittabawasee today and two of us picked up 5 eyes and 1 northern about 10 lbs. The water is starting to clear, so the fishing should start to pick up.

Three of us hit the river yesterday, Awesome day. Pulled some nice respectable fish. One fish was 8.2lbs. Others were just right for the frying pan. Hey JRS make sure you go to work on Monday.

Well just because you are laid off is no reason to thing your the only one that is gonna be fishing. Some of us "working" persons may take a earned day off and join you.

You'll recognize me, I will be the one with the terrible cough.:) I can feel it coming on now.

Actually I was refering to me calling in Sick.:) hehehe I got one of those jobs that if you get a layoff notice, you aint coming back.
Otherwise it is a sure thing.

I don't think I would really like getting a lay off notice this time of the year either. Perhaps from Oct.1-Nov 30th would work nicely however......

I take it you have a Targa, I have a Green and Silver, 16Ft. Deep V, Tracker.

Radio call is Happy Hooker.

Hit the river on tuesday. What a great day it was.You gotta love the weather! We ended up with 7 keepers, largest 8 1/2 lber. Several small ones. NO SHEEPHEADS! But we did manage a carp. Fished Wicks Park and Hooters.
