Just want to say hello from our new home next to the fifth green on the Georgia National Golf Club in McDonough, GA. Near the green is a lagoon full of lunker bluegills, crappies & catfish. We also get to fish Lake Dow North which is within our complex. You'd love this. No gas engines allowed which means no water skiers, etc. You have to row or use an electric trolling motor. No walleyes, but the lake largemouth bass record is over 11 lbs. and the crappies get over 3 lbs. We do have some great walleye fishing in northern Georgia. How would you like to fish a lake with a ten fish limit and the average walleye is 3 lbs.!!! Maybe a future MWC tournament site? We enjoy being retired, but we really miss you MWC'ers. Went golfing this morning, 62 degrees (eat your hearts out). Always thinking of you. Best regards--Kaz & Bev

Nice to hear from you Steve. Red Wing in the 80's in May. You know what? I remember a championship during the first week in June at Red Wing, and it was that warm.

Bob & Bev:
It is so nice to hear from you's. I'm sure you's are enjoying your retirement, and I know you both love to play golf, so It's like a walleye fisherman living next to a Walleye Lake. Everytime I see the MWC logo, whether it is on a shirt, jacket, or on a truck, I think of the good old days, and Bev & you. I sure hope retirement is going good for both of you's, Hope health is in a good way. Stay in touch, you have my email, but I don't have your's. We should get together and fish a MWC event, like the Ill, River, wouldn't that be a shock to everyone!
Nice to hear from dear friends again!
Thanks,
Gary

It's not all golf. I'm a volunteer on our local lake patrol and right now we're in the process of sinking about 300 christmas trees for fish habitat.

Dear Bev and Kaz,
Great to hear from the couple to whom walleye tournament fishing owes so much. So glad you are having a good time with the golf, the fishing and the family. You deserve all the best.
It would be great if you came to Spring Valley for Mr. Guerrini's last year at the helm. I plan to be there whether we get into the lottery or not. Always room in my boat for you to go rough up the sauger.
Please email me at srichard@davesworld.net to let me know your new email address.
All the best,
Scott

Great hearing from you and glad to hear all's going well in the retirement! Curious to hear your spin on the growing corporate interest in walleye tournaments. Remember, golf is a nice walk spoiled by a little white ball.

Hey Scott!
64 degrees down here today. However, I didn't go golfing or fishing. Had a class at my local University of Georgia extension. Our e-mail address is: bkaczkowski@worldnet.att.net
Right now, I wish I was up there having a beer with my buddy "Sir Richard".
Kaz
Mr. Golden!
Is your gord frozen-off by now? I'm waiting for my Georgia walleye fishing angling writing assignment. Miss you Scott.
Kaz
Mike!
President of Fishing Hot Spots!!! I remember when you came to the tournament in Iowa. Hey! There's great walleye fishing in northern Georgia, but no-one knows about it (yet!). As far as my take on the corporate interest in walleye fishing. I was once laughed at by the powers to be at Bass Pro Shops as to the future of walleye tournament fishing. I'm having the last laugh now. The RCL tournament series is a "direct" decendant of the MWC. Even Ranger Boats was sceptical until they started selling more v-hulls than they ever expected. Right now, all of the walleye tournament sponsors are missing the boat on the great southern walleye fisheries. The anglers down here are chompin-at-the-bit to learn how to catch "eyes". I know, I've been contacted by many anglers and the Georgia DNR. My e-mail: bkaczkowski@worldnet.att.net Great hearing from you Mike.
Kaz
Beav!
You big jag! Man, you'd love it down here. The two of us should get Frank and Sura down here and re-start the "road show." Boy, those were the days Beav. So far, so good. No complaints. Sure don't miss the snow and cold, and the high taxes. Glad to hear you got a mini-show of sorts going for yourself--one of the best ##### fishermen around.
Kaz
Watch out for the 'gators. Northern folk are a particular delicacy!

Two of the most fantastic persons anyone could ever meet-how the heck are ya???
Haven't talked to you for a bit, but I get updates now and then from Ralph...(I owe ya a call) on how "y'all" are doing. Did you get my Christmas card?? I'm sure that the one you sent me just got "lost in the mail, right?" (Heh heh, couldn't resist).
Kaz I am totally with you on the southern walleye circuit, but I just get laughed at when I suggest it. I won't mention who I made the suggestion to, but they all looked at me and said it couldn't be done. Sounded either like a challenge to me, or maybe they just have something up their sleeve for the future of walleye angling. In any case, everything I hear backs you up on certain regions in the south crying for a good ol' pro walleye circuit!
Bev-did you get all of the interior design done on the new home? You guys should send Scott a picture or two so he can post it...somewhere...yes Scott? of the new place so we can all see it. Inquiring minds want to know...ya know. Make sure you two are in a few of the shots so we can all see ya again...even if it is half way across the country from some of us!
I am so glad to see you guys are back online! Great way to keep in touch! Email me sometime at nelson57@earthlink.net, okay? And for anyone who doesn't know this already, let me say what a great couple of people Bob and Bev are. They are the most kind, professional, patient and wise people I have met in this industry, and I miss you guys!
Stay in touch...Take care,
Carol

Don't think you are waiting on me, get the pen and paper and when you are ready, I'm ready <grin> (I hate those dang smiley faces)
Georgia has some really pretty spots in it, we used to chase pigs in airboats in the swamps down south there. Lots of fun.
Stay in touch, it's great to chat with you again. We all miss you.
Scott Golden
Glad to hear it's not all g**f! With my brother it is! We're making plans to put him away! :)

Hi There
I missed our chats in Oconto the last few years.
I just want to thank the both of you for all you have done.
Without your strength and dedication there would be no walleye circuits.
Every year when I slip the boat in for the first event I think of you two.
Thanks
Again

P.S.
Remember Golf is just to keep your casting arm loose.

Hey, make that tourney in the Winter, and I'm in! We'll show those Southern folks how to fish for walleye!! Might just relieve a lot of people's "cabin fever" too!
Kaz and Bev, I didn't get a chance to know you, but I knew all about you, and your years of dedication to walleye fishing and tournaments. Thank you for sharing your love.
Best wishes to you!
